Notes: Allie is a 18lb bundle of joy with a tail that never stops wagging! This friendly little Cocker Spaniel has so much happiness that her whole body wiggles with excitement. Allie loves attention and will do her best to steal away all the pets from anyone nearby. Her famous wiggle butt is well-known around our rescue and guaranteed to bring a smile to your face.

She gets along with all other dogs, but truth be told, she prefers the company of people as they give the best scratches! Allie is learning to walk on a leash and her love for food will definitely help with future training. Whether she is an only dog or has a furry sibling, she will fit right in and bring plenty of joy to her new home.

Confident, friendly, and always ready to be right by your side, Allie is just waiting for her perfect family to come along and love her forever.

National Mill Dog Rescue rescues, rehabilitates and re-homes retired commercial breeding dogs. Prior to being rescued, many of our dogs have experienced minimal socialization. As a result, there is often an adjustment period when learning about life as a family pet. We typically do not adopt to homes with young children. Homes with older children will be considered on an individual basis. Patience, understanding and a gentle hand are a must. The great news is, most of these dogs come around rather quickly and being a part of their rehabilitation is an extremely rewarding experience.

Adopting a dog: If you have not already done so, please submit the adoption application via the link above. Within 72 hours of receipt of your application, an Adoptions Team member will respond to you via EMAIL with instructions on next steps in the application process. Be sure to check your junk or spam email as well. Please note that it is best to not have a particular dog in mind as it could get adopted before you are approved to adopt. Your application is valid for 11 months and we are always rescuing dogs. Once you are approved to adopt, you will be able to set up the meet and greet and you will also bring your dog or dogs with you. If you are looking to adopt from outside of Colorado, you do need to follow the above process, and if approved to adopt, you will need to travel to Colorado to meet and pick up your next family member. We do not allow shipping or transportation.
